FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
We are a congregation of Reformed believers which seek to glorify God and make Christ known.
We love meeting new people, and we will do everything that we can to make you feel welcome! You won’t be singled out during the service, and we would love to have a chance to talk to you before or after the service.
You can expect to see around 80 people (undergrads, graduate students, young professional, working adults, retired, and children) at our services. You will find people wearing everything from formal suits to informal jeans, so please come as you are, in whatever clothes you feel most comfortable wearing.
When you arrive you can expect to be greeted with warm smiles and an open door. Services begin promptly and there are greeters willing to help you find what you need and answer any questions you might have.
The worship service usually lasts 60-75 minutes. Some Sundays may include additional elements (such as a baptism) which slightly increase the overall length. Our services are easy to follow, and everything is in the worship bulletin. You can view a recent bulletin here to get a sense for what each service looks like. You can also listen to recent sermons here.
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every week. All those who have been baptized and believe in the Triune God, who are members in good standing in a gospel-believing church, and who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome to partake according to your conscience.
We love to see children of all ages in our worship service! We welcome their wiggle and chatter. We desire to support parents shepherding their young charges in faithful corporate worship of our great God. As you take a bulletin on your way into the sanctuary, you can also pick up a children’s page, as well as additional blank paper and crayons. Please sit wherever you are most comfortable.
During the service, we offer a volunteer-staffed nursery for children ages 0-2, and every other week during the school year we also offer a Teaching Time during the sermon for children ages 3 through kindergarten. A children’s ministry team member can be found at a table in the back of the sanctuary, just outside the nursery and classroom doors, to help you register your child and answer any questions you may have. We’d love to hear from you, so please feel free to reach out to us before you come at ccaa.childrensministry@gmail.com.
You can find more information about our children’s ministry here.
