Touch Point

What are Touch Point Meetings?

Touch Point meetings are recurring (quarterly) and brief “check-ins” between the Session (Elders) and congregation. It’s purpose is to facilitate good communication on the progress of ministry, present new initiatives and provide opportunity for feedback and engagement. All regular attenders, members or non-members, are welcome to attend. Touch Point is NOT a congregational meeting and therefore no voting.

When will Touch Point Occur?

These gatherings will occur on the 2nd Sunday in January, April (easter dependent), August, & November shortly (10 min) after the worship service. They will last no more than 30 minutes and will occur in the sanctuary.

How will Touch Point work?

The Pastor(s) and Elders (some or all Elders) will open the meeting with some topic (see above) and welcome engagement. The intent is to encourage 2-way communication between the Session and congregation flowing in a positive and edifying way with questions, comments, suggestions, etc.

There will be no childcare. Maybe consider bringing a snack for your young ones. We want to keep TouchPoint brief but meaningful.
